Dr. Akam Muhammad, known to his patients as Dr. Akam, has a deep passion for helping others, which shines through in his approach to dental care. A Kansas City native, Dr. Akam holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, a minor in healing and humanities, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). He remains actively involved in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association.

Personal Side

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Akam enjoys quality time with his wife, Taban, and their two daughters, Ella and Mila, who keep him on his toes. When he’s not in the office or with his family, you’ll likely find him cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs—he’s a BIG fan!
