How do I know if I need full or partial dentures?

The choice between full and partial dentures depends on how many teeth you need to replace.

• Full dentures are recommended when all or most of the teeth in an arch (upper or lower) are missing or need to be removed.
• Partial dentures are ideal if you still have some healthy natural teeth. They fit around your existing teeth and help maintain your bite alignment.

Can I sleep with my dentures in?

While you can sleep with your dentures in, removing them at night is generally recommended to give your gums a chance to rest. Taking your dentures out while sleeping helps prevent irritation, infections, and excessive wear. Be sure to soak them in a denture-cleaning solution or water overnight to keep them clean and maintain their shape.

What should I do if my dentures become loose?

If your dentures feel loose, it may be due to natural changes in your jawbone and gums over time. Schedule an appointment with us for an adjustment or relining. In some cases, a new set of dentures or implant-supported dentures may be recommended for a more secure fit. Avoid using over-the-counter adhesives as a long-term solution without consulting your dentist.
